Not long ago I had an opportunity to visit a nerby amusement park.  For the sake of the article let's call it Seven Flags.  I was happy to go because my family was coming, and we had those cupons for 50% off all of our tickets, so life was good.  Crowds weren't that big, considering that it was a weekend but most people already started school.  Lines weren't long (the rides were not long either, but that's a topic for another commentary), but it was darn hot, as it usually is this time of year in SoCal.   The 4 of us brought 8 water bottles with us in a backpack (the guys at the gate didn't complain about that this time), but the water in the little containers quickly ran out.  By about 1 o'clocks we were running dry.

That's when we decided to go to lunch.  Looking at our park map, we found a restaurant not far from where we currently were.  We enter the restaurant and then the sign hits us: Grade B.  The restaurant that we chose received a grade B from the inspector.   At this time we should have ran from the park.  How can a restaurant in a park visited by people from all over the world have a restaurant which doesn't get a perfect grade from the food inspector.  But we were tired, hungry, and thirsty, so we reluctantly decided to stay. Again, another slap on the head.  The food in the park is twice as expensive as anywhere else, it is half as good, and they give you half the amount you'd get in a real restaurant.  After spending a fortune on the stuff the salespeople there call food, we sat down at a semi-clean table.  Now, after having a few minutes to look around, we concluded that the inspector was generous; the restaurant should've not received anything higher than a C grade.  The food was AWFUL, the place dirty, scraped up.  The water and the sodas tasted like they wre all made from toilet water or something.  I still do not understand how an internationally known park in AMERICA can have such low standards on food.  Even some of the bathrooms were better looking than that restaurant.

I know that the parks usually make most their money from the sales of food, drinks, and stuff like hats/shirts, but that is not an excuse for a filthy dining place.
